titleOfInvention Method for ultimate water removal of electronic-grade N-methyl pyrrolidone
abstract The invention relates to the technical field of methyl pyrrolidone water removal, and discloses a method for removing water of electronic grade nitrogen methyl pyrrolidone in a limiting way, which comprises the following steps: s1, building a reduced pressure distillation device in the glove box; s2, adding p-methylbenzoic acid, phosphorus pentoxide and electronic grade N-methyl pyrrolidone into a distillation device, stirring and heating to start decompression, wherein the color of the N-methyl pyrrolidone solution is changed from initial clarification to turbidity, then to orange red and wine red; s3, starting distillation, wherein the former part of distillate is not needed, and collecting middle distillate; the electronic grade N-methyl pyrrolidone is further purified by combining physical and chemical modes, phosphorus pentoxide is used as a water removal agent, the electronic grade N-methyl pyrrolidone is further purified by distillation in an anhydrous environment, and moisture detection is carried out on the electronic grade N-methyl pyrrolidone, a front distillate and a rear distillate by a Karl Fischer moisture tester.
