abstract The present application belongs to the field of daily chemicals, and specifically provides a use of a terminalia tree leaf extract, a soothing composition and applications thereof. The anti-allergic dermatitis production-inhibiting Shumin composition provided by the present application is composed of the extract of the leaves of terminal nut and the leaf of Morinda citrifolia, and the mass ratio thereof is 1:0.01-3. The Shumin composition of the present application uses the combination of the extract of the leaves of Terminalia oleifera and the leaf of Morinda citrifolia, which has a synergistic effect and can well inhibit allergic dermatitis. When used in Shumin skin care products, it can inhibit the degranulation of mast cells, play a role in soothing allergies, reduce itching, pain and discomfort caused by dermatitis, and can also increase the moisture content of the stratum corneum and prevent the loss of moisture in the deep layers of the skin.
