abstract The light emitting device includes a substrate. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged on the substrate to be spaced apart from each other. The first insulating layer is disposed on the substrate and the first and second electrodes, and includes openings between the first and second electrodes, the openings partially exposing mutually facing portions of the first and second electrodes. At least one light emitting element is arranged in the opening. The first end of the at least one light emitting element is connected to the first portion of the first electrode exposed through the opening, and the second end of the at least one light emitting element is connected to the second portion of the second electrode exposed through the opening.
