titleOfInvention A kind of high-quality recycled aluminum and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention discloses a high-quality secondary aluminum and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of metallurgical casting. The chemical composition and mass percentage of the regenerated aluminum are: Si: 1-20wt.%, Mg: 0-1.0wt.%, Cu: 0-1.0wt%, Zn: 0-1.0wt.%, Fe: 0.15 ‑2wt.%, V: 0.005‑0.5wt.%, B: 0.005‑1wt.%, Al: 70‑98.8wt.%, the total amount of transition metal elements other than Fe is ≤4.0wt.%, and no Avoided impurity elements; the total content of the unavoidable impurity elements is less than or equal to 2.0 wt. %, and the atomic ratio of V and B is less than or equal to 5 or the mass ratio is less than or equal to 24. This method is used to prepare the above-mentioned secondary aluminum. The invention enables the prepared secondary aluminum to maintain or even exceed the mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy prepared by using electrolytic aluminum with low iron content on the basis of high iron impurities, and saves the consumption of secondary aluminum in the conventional secondary aluminum preparation process. The dilution process of iron impurities in the product greatly saves production time and cost.
