titleOfInvention | Coupled sorting and electroprocessing of biological cells |
abstract | The present application provides a method for lysing or electroporating cells in a biological sample, comprising the steps of: passing cells of the sample, preferably suspended in a fluid, through a flow path at a preset flow rate, wherein the flow path passing through a detection device for detecting single cells and wherein the flow path includes at least two electrodes for generating an electric field, the electrodes being located downstream of the detection device and coated with a relative permittivity greater than 3.9 , preferably greater than 9, more preferably 60 or higher dielectric material, wherein the coating covers at least the surface of the electrode facing the flow path, and when the presence of specific cells is detected in the detection device, then when The detected cells generate an electric field between the electrodes as they pass between the electrodes according to the flow rate, wherein the electric field causes electroporation or lysis of the cells. |
