The invention relates to a high flame-retardant polypropylene foamed bead, a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of foamed materials. It solves the problems in the prior art that the flame retardant polypropylene material has a fast burning rate, dripping and large damage length during the burning process. The expanded beads of the present invention comprise 100 parts by weight of polypropylene, 20-40 parts by weight of compound flame retardant, 0.1-5 parts by weight of nucleating agent and 1-10 parts by weight of other auxiliary agents. Wherein, the compound flame retardant is composed of 10-50wt% expanded graphite, 5-20wt% one-dimensional rod-shaped material, 10-30wt% coated red phosphorus and 20-50wt% ammonium polyphosphate. The foamed material prepared by foaming the foamed beads has a short damage length during the horizontal combustion test, does not reach or just reaches the 25mm mark after the ignition time ends, and has no dripping phenomenon during the combustion process, and able to maintain its original shape. |
