titleOfInvention Translucent zirconia sintered body, zirconia powder, and uses thereof
abstract The present invention provides a zirconia sintered body having both excellent light transmittance and flexural strength, particularly a zirconia sintered body having both light transmittance and strength suitable for anterior dentures, and a method for producing the same. The translucent zirconia sintered body contains more than 4.0 mol % and 6.5 mol % or less of yttrium oxide and less than 0.1 wt % of alumina, has a relative density of 99.82% or more, and has a thickness of 1.0 mm with respect to light having a wavelength of 600 nm. The total light transmittance is 37% or more and less than 40%, and the bending strength is 500MPa or more.
