abstract The invention proposes a recovery device and method for the cobalt-manganese mixture in the residue of trimellitic anhydride production. In the method, sulfuric acid is added to the residue to make it into cobalt-manganese salt, and some other reagents are added to adjust the process parameters. The metal ions are precipitated, filtered and ammonium carbonate is added to the filtrate, so that the cobalt manganese becomes a mixture of cobalt manganese carbonate, washed by filtration, and acidified with acetic acid to obtain the finished product. The method recycles and reuses the dangerous solid waste originally to be treated, saves costs, can effectively reduce impurity ions in the recovery, and the purified cobalt carbonate and manganese carbonate have high purity; the bromide and ammonium sulfate generated in the recovery process can be used as by-products through evaporation It can be recycled by drying; the chemical raw materials used are easy to obtain, the operation is simple, the risk is small, and the safety of the production process is guaranteed; it can greatly reduce the generation of solid waste, save the cost of solid waste treatment, and increase economic benefits.
