The present invention provides a lignin nanoparticle for photothermal-immunotherapy and a preparation method thereof: (1) uniformly dispersing lignosulfonate and indocyanine green in pure water to obtain a mixed solution; (2) ) under normal temperature stirring conditions, the aluminum chloride solution is added dropwise to the mixed solution, and then the reaction is protected from light; (3) solid-liquid separation is obtained after the reaction is completed, and LS-Al-ICG nanoparticles are obtained. The LS-Al-ICG nanoparticles provided by the invention have uniform particle size, good dispersibility and stability, and have good photothermal conversion effect in vitro. Appropriate concentration of LS-Al-ICG nanoparticles solution has good biosafety, combined with 808nm laser irradiation can kill more than 70% of tumor cells, LS-Al-ICG nanoparticles have excellent anti-tumor effect in vitro, and can Stimulate immune response.
