The noble metal nanoclusters of the noble metal@Pd epitaxial heterostructure electrocatalyst are nano-confined in on Pd nanosheets. A heterostructured noble metal@Pd electrocatalyst was fabricated by epitaxial growth method to form nano-confined noble metal nanoclusters on Pd nanosheets, exhibiting excellent HOR performance.
