abstract A method for improving reproductive capacity of a Brucella is disclosed, which belongs to the technical field of animal reproduction, wherein the Brucella at 4 weeks of birth is administered daily according to the dosage of 0.75g/kg and 1.25g/kg of tannic acid agent, and the female Brucella is administered daily for 4 weeks and 9 weeks respectively to obtain the Brucella at adolescence or adulthood, wherein the tannic acid treatment can improve the ovarian coefficient (the ratio of the weight of the ovary to the weight of the body), the proportion of mature follicles and the diameter of follicles, and improve serum luteinizing hormone, the contents of follicle-stimulating hormone and serum estradiol improve the level of antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase and catalase), reduce the level of malondialdehyde, obviously enhance the reproductive capacity in a short period, and greatly shorten the mating time, thereby shortening the reproductive cycle of the Brucella rats and creating higher application value of the experimental rats.
