titleOfInvention | Enhancing parallelism of memory device access to FTL tables using address barriers |
abstract | The application provides a method for lockless access to an FTL table by using an address barrier, and relates to a storage technology. Responding to a received write command, if the logical address accessed by the write command is overlapped with the logical address range recorded by the logical address barrier, temporarily storing the write command without starting the processing of the write command; a first task acquires an old value of an address from a first entry of an FTL table, and writes data corresponding to the old value of the address into a first new address; the first task compares an address in a first entry of the FTL table with a stored old value of the address and determines whether to update the first entry of the FTL table with a first new address according to the comparison result. By adopting the lock-free access method provided by the application, the problem of resource access conflict caused by multi-task concurrent processing can be reduced, and the parallelism of task processing of the storage equipment is improved. |
