titleOfInvention Lock-free access to FTL tables of storage device
abstract The application provides lock-free access of an FTL table of a storage device, and relates to the storage technology. The lock-free access method comprises the steps that a first task obtains and stores an old value of an address from a first entry of an FTL table, and moves data corresponding to the old value of the address to a first new address; the second task writes the data into the second new address, and writes the second new address into a second entry of the FTL table; the first task compares an address in the first entry of the FTL table with a stored old value of the address and determines whether to update the first entry of the FTL table with a first new address according to the comparison result. By adopting the lock-free access method provided by the application, the problem of resource access conflict caused by multi-task concurrent processing can be reduced, and the parallelism of task processing of the storage equipment is improved.
