abstract The present invention relates to a medical alloy containing Pt, Co, Cr, Ni, and Mo. The alloy contains 10 atomic % or more and 30 atomic % or less of Pt, 20 atomic % or more and 31 atomic % or less of Cr, 5 atomic % or more and 24 atomic % or less of Ni, and 4 atomic % or more and 8 atomic % or less of Mo , and the balance of Co and unavoidable impurities, the ratio of the Ni content (C Ni ) to the Pt content (C Pt ), C Ni /C Pt , is 1.5 or less. The present invention can be applied not only to stents such as blood flow guide stents, but also to various medical devices such as catheters, embolic coils, and guide wires.
