The present invention provides a curable silicone composition that exhibits excellent performance when used as a member requiring transparency, such as an optical display or a touch panel, a cured product thereof, a laminate, a method for producing the same, and an optical device or optical device monitor. The curable silicone composition comprises: (A) a polyorganosiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups having 2 to 12 carbon atoms in one molecule; (B) at least two silicon-bonded hydrogens in one molecule atomic organohydrogenpolysiloxane; and (C) a catalyst for hydrosilylation reaction, the content of (B) component is (B) component with respect to 1 mol of aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bonds in (A) component The silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in the composition are in an amount of 0.5 to 2 mol, and 2 to 17.5 mol % of the silicon-bonded organic groups in the curable silicone composition are aryl groups. |
