titleOfInvention User interface and locking features for positioning multiple components within the body
abstract The present invention is titled "User Interface and Locking Feature for Positioning Multiple Components in a Body." The present invention discloses embodiments including apparatus, systems and methods for positioning electrodes. In an exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes a primary electrode defining a lumen, an elongated secondary electrode slidably received within the lumen, and configured to slidably receive and deliver the electrode toward a target area the sheath. The housing is coupled with the sheath and is movably mounted to actuate the sheath relative to the target area. A main actuator is coupled with the main electrode and slidably coupled with the housing to actuate the main electrode relative to the sheath. The auxiliary actuator is coupled with the auxiliary electrode and movably coupled with the main actuator to be capable of sliding cooperatively with the electrode. The auxiliary actuator is rotatable independently of the main actuator to travel along the helical path, thereby actuating the auxiliary electrode to move relative to the target area independently of the main electrode.
