abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of biology, in particular to application of melatonin as an effective component of a foliar spray agent to influence the microbial diversity of rhizosphere soil of medicinal plants, wherein the content of the melatonin in the foliar spray agent is 100-300mg/L, and the inducer also contains 0.05g/L of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose. The melatonin disclosed by the invention can reduce the content of plant endogenous salicylic acid and hydrogen peroxide, improve the content of jasmonic acid, promote the proliferation and endosymbiotic of rhizosphere probiotic fungi and change the diversity of paris polyphylla rhizosphere soil microorganisms. In conclusion, the melatonin can be sprayed on the leaf surfaces to adjust the composition of rhizosphere microorganisms by changing the endogenous hormone level, so that the effects of resisting diseases and promoting the growth of the Paris polyphylla are achieved.
