abstract | The present invention discloses MSP19 protein of Elephant bean root-knot nematode and its encoding gene and their application as a target in inhibiting nematode. The present invention provides a protein named MSP19 protein, which is the protein shown in SEQ ID NO: 5 or SEQ ID NO: 1 of the sequence listing. The gene encoding MSP19 protein also belongs to the protection scope of the present invention, and is named as MSP19 gene. The present invention also protects the application of the MSP19 gene in breeding transgenic plants with reduced resistance to root-knot nematodes. The present invention also protects the use of the substance for inhibiting the expression of the MSP19 gene in cultivating transgenic plants with increased resistance to root-knot nematodes. The invention provides genetic resources and theoretical basis for prevention and treatment of Elephant bean root-knot nematode pathogenic mechanism. |
