abstract The invention discloses a reverse dimming film and a preparation method thereof. The reverse dimming film comprises an upper flexible transparent conductive layer, an upper horizontal alignment layer, a positive liquid crystal layer, a lower horizontal alignment layer and a lower flexible transparent conductive layer in sequence. Arrangement; the reverse dimming film has a transparent state and a frosted state; in the transparent state, the liquid crystal molecules in the positive liquid crystal layer are arranged in a horizontal arrangement; in the frosted state, the liquid crystal molecules in the positive liquid crystal layer are arranged in a vertical arrangement. The reverse light-adjusting film of the present disclosure adopts a positive liquid crystal layer, and the product cost can be greatly reduced. Moreover, the preparation process is relatively simple, horizontal alignment only needs to rub the alignment layer with a rubbing machine, the process parameters and equipment are relatively mature, and the product yield is high. In addition, the anchoring effect of horizontal alignment is better than that of vertical alignment, so its shading effect is better than that of vertical alignment. And, the solubility of the positive liquid crystal to the polymer is better than that of the negative liquid crystal, which is beneficial to further improve the adhesive force of the reverse light-adjusting film.
