abstract | The invention discloses an instant drag reducer and a preparation method thereof, relating to the technical field of drag reducers for oil and gas development; the PAAD copolymer is formed by copolymerizing acrylamide, 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid and a hydrophobic monomer. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the instant drag reducer, which comprises the following steps: preparing a polyethylene glycol solution; adding acrylamide, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid and a hydrophobic monomer into a polyethylene glycol solution to obtain a mixed solution, and introducing nitrogen; and (3) heating to 40-60 ℃, adding an initiator, and carrying out polymerization reaction to obtain the instant drag reducer. According to the invention, acrylamide, 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid and a hydrophobic monomer are copolymerized to form the instant drag reducer without adding a stabilizer, a surfactant and an organic solvent, so that the problems that the existing drag reducer causes pollution to underground water after being injected into a stratum and cannot meet the requirement of environmental protection are solved. |
