abstract The invention discloses an effector protein RxLR29 derived from phytophthora camphora, and a coding gene and application thereof. The protein has the structure shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. Experiments prove that the protein controlled and expressed by the gene can participate in the process of infecting the tobacco by the phytophthora camphora and has the function of inhibiting the death of plant cells. The invention has important significance for enriching the information of molecular mechanism data of the interaction between the plant pathogenic oomycetes and the host and establishing a comprehensive control technical strategy of the plant pathogenic oomycetes diseases.
