abstract The invention discloses a process for removing ferromagnetic substances in carbon black, which comprises the following steps: s1, presetting powder magnetic separation equipment; s2, screening ferromagnetic substances in the carbon black which is not granulated through powder magnetic separation equipment; s3, sorting carbon black and ferromagnetic substances, and granulating the screened carbon black in a granulator and drying after granulation; s4, lifting the dried carbon black particles, screening the carbon black particles in a screening machine, and feeding the screened carbon black particles into particle magnetic separation equipment for secondary screening; s5, conveying the screened carbon black particles into an air separator, and screening the carbon black particles into a drum-type magnetic separator through the air separator to obtain a finished product; s6, storing the product into a storage tank, and screening again in finished product magnetic separation equipment arranged at the discharge port of the storage tank. Ferromagnetic substances brought by modes of inputting media, process equipment, pipelines, pipeline corrosion abrasion and the like in the carbon black production process are effectively removed through a multi-stage magnetic separation mode, so that the purpose of reducing product screen residues and improving the quality of carbon black products is achieved.
