abstract | The invention provides a cotton high-temperature response gene GhHRK1, a coded protein and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of plant breeding. The invention utilizes the anther transcriptome data of natural population of cotton to carry out the correlation analysis of the whole genome and the whole transcriptome, and discovers the key gene GhHRK1 of cotton responding to high temperature. Through transcriptome data analysis and in-situ hybridization experiments, the abundance of the GhHRK1 transcript in the extremely sensitive high-temperature material is obviously higher than that of the high-temperature material. The high temperature resistance of HRK1 homologous mutant HRK1 of Arabidopsis thaliana is also increased, and the high temperature resistance can be complemented by GhHRK 1. The invention provides a method for creating high-temperature-resistant cotton germplasm by using GhHRK1 gene, which has important significance for guiding the improvement of high-temperature-resistant resistance of cotton germplasm. |
