The invention discloses a plant immune regulation-related protein MEL and an application thereof, and relates to the field of plant genetic engineering. The present invention discovers a plant immunity-related protein MEL, which encodes a conserved SWIM domain, a conserved RING domain and a conserved substrate recognition sequence YφNL. The regulation of MEL expression in plants can significantly improve the broad-spectrum disease resistance of plants to pathogens, and provides a method for genetic engineering of crop disease resistance. |
