The present invention provides a technique for efficiently forming a functional layer for an electrochemical element that can suppress powder drop, ensure sufficient heat resistance, and also exhibit excellent adhesiveness. The composition for an electrochemical element functional layer contains a particulate polymer, a binder, and inorganic particles. Here, the average circularity of the particulate polymer is 0.90 or more and less than 0.99, and the volume average particle diameter of the particulate polymer is 1.0 μm or more and 10.0 μm or less. |
