The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding water glass diluent into acid catalyst diluent at a relatively low temperature, stirring evenly to obtain raw materials Slurry; add a solvent to the raw material slurry, adjust the pH value of the reaction system to be no greater than 1, then add M group siloxane and toluene to carry out a hydrolysis condensation reaction; after the hydrolysis condensation reaction, take the upper organic layer, stir and concentrate to a solid content of 60 -70%, then add toluene for extraction to obtain a concentrate; add an organic base catalyst and additives to the concentrate, continue the reaction, neutralize and filter the product to obtain a weight-average molecular weight of 2000-8000 and a hydroxyl content of 0.5-3 % MQ resin product. The molecular weight distribution of the MQ resin product obtained by the preparation method is relatively narrow, and it is not easy to gel during the reaction.
