abstract The application provides a ration formula feed for young cattle, which is made up of the following raw materials in terms of dry matter weight percentage (%DM): 25-30% of whole-plant corn silage, 30-35% of concentrated feed , hay 35‑45%. The present application also provides methods of preparing the feed. Compared with the traditional diet group, the body height development indicators of the two groups of young cattle were not significantly affected, the body weight was significantly decreased, and the postpartum peak milk production was significantly increased.
