It is proved by experiments that the CcBDH3 protein of the present invention can catalyze D-borneol ((+)-borneol) to form D-camphor ((+)-camphor), and can catalyze L-borneol ((-)-borneol) to form L-camphor ( (‑)‑camphor) not only plays an important role in the biosynthesis of camphor and other monoterpenoids in borneol camphor, but also has important theoretical and practical significance for the regulation and production of plant monoterpenoids. |
