titleOfInvention | Application of SDF4 as a biomarker for prognosis prediction in sepsis |
abstract | The invention discloses the application of gene SDF4 and its expressed protein Cab45 as biomarkers in the preparation of prognostic diagnostic reagents or kits for sepsis patients. The SDF4 was used as a biomarker to detect its transcription level in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and a low transcription level predicted a poor prognosis in patients with sepsis. The Cab45 is used as a biomarker to detect its protein level in peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and low expression predicts poor prognosis in patients with sepsis. The genes and their transcribed and expressed proteins have high specificity and sensitivity for early warning prediction of the prognosis of patients with sepsis. The preparation of reagents or kits for prognosis prediction of sepsis can provide reference information for rational selection of treatment methods and allocation of medical resources, which has important clinical application value and promotion. |
