abstract The invention relates to a method for improving the disinfection treatment effect of a clean water tank of a water works, which is completed by arranging a UV-LED light source with a specific wavelength in the clean water tank of tap water added with a chlorine disinfectant. Compared with the prior art, the invention can greatly reduce the generation amount of disinfection byproducts in the factory water while ensuring the efficient inactivation of microorganisms, and simultaneously reduce the consumption of sodium hypochlorite in the water to the maximum extent.
