abstract The invention relates to a novel magnetic material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the invention comprises the following steps: mixing and reacting aromatic ring-rich organic substances/biomolecules with divalent metal ions to obtain a magnetic material with superparamagnetic properties at room temperature. Based on the ion-π interaction between the aromatic ring and the ion, the invention enables the novel magnetic material to have super paramagnetic properties at normal temperature. The preparation method has a wide range of raw materials, the molecular structure can be designed, and the self-assembly structure can be regulated. Moreover, the addition of ferromagnetic substances is effectively avoided, and it has good biocompatibility, and can be widely used in magnetic targeting drugs, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, magnetic transfection and other fields.
