abstract |
The light emitting diode comprises: a first conductive semiconductor layer; an active layer disposed on one surface of the first conductive semiconductor layer; a second conductive semiconductor layer disposed on the active layer; an insulating film surrounding the first conductive semiconductor layer, the active layer and the second conductive semiconductor layer an outer peripheral surface of each of the conductive semiconductor layers; and an electrode layer disposed on the second conductive semiconductor layer. The first conductive semiconductor layer includes a first region whose outer peripheral surface is covered with an insulating film and a second region whose outer peripheral surface is not covered with the insulating film. The peripheral surface of the first conductive semiconductor layer in the first region and the peripheral surface of the first conductive semiconductor layer in the second region have different perimeters. |
