The present invention relates to a fabric made of interwoven strands, wherein, in each case, two yarns are twisted against each other to form a strand, and wherein at least one of the yarns comprises polyester staple fibers and Cellulosic staple fibers of the lyocell, viscose and/or modal type, wherein the proportion of cellulosic staple fibers in the fabric is 10% by weight up to 90% by weight. The fabric according to the invention is characterized in that the fabric or those yarns contained therein comprising polyester staple fibers and cellulose staple fibers and the strands produced therefrom satisfy two relations from which suitability of the fabric for applications in automobiles, especially automobile seats. |
