In some aspects, the present disclosure provides methods for identifying sequence variants in nucleic acid samples. In some embodiments, the method includes distinguishing between true mutations in the polynucleotide and random errors introduced during the amplification step. In some embodiments, the method reduces the number of false positives reported by digital PCR assays. In some embodiments, the method improves the accuracy of digital PCR assays. |
