titleOfInvention | A reagent for detecting genotypes of SNP loci significantly associated with Chinese Simmental beef quality traits |
abstract | The invention discloses a reagent for detecting the genotype of the SNP site significantly correlated with the quality traits of Chinese Simmental beef. The SNP site is located in the intron 2 of the MAT2B gene, and there are three kinds of GG, GT and TT Genotype, whose genotype significantly affects beef quality. When the sample genotype is GG, the slaughter acidity and carcass depth of the individual are significantly higher than those of other genotypes; when the sample genotype is GG, the kidney fat content and carcass depth of the individual are significantly higher than those of the genotype TT individuals, the loin thickness of this individual was significantly lower than that of individuals with TT genotype. The invention lays a foundation for further building a core cattle herd with excellent and high-quality meat quality traits, and provides a molecular theoretical basis for the early selection and breeding of high-quality beef cattle in the future. |
