abstract The invention discloses an end-group functionalized polymer and a method for using acetylenic copper to carry out the Glaser coupling polymerization reaction, which is a novel method for catalyzing the Glaser coupling polymerization reaction and the end functionalization of the polymerization product thereof. Specifically, the method includes the following steps: 1) synthesis of catalyst ((4-methoxyphenyl)ethynyl)copper; 2) preparation of monomers for Glaser coupling polymerization (thiophenes and benzene ring diynes) Monomer); 3) Glaser coupling polymerization using diacetylenic monomer and ((4-methoxyphenyl)ethynyl)copper as catalyst. The present invention finally successfully obtains a polymer, and at the same time, the end group of the obtained conjugated polymer has an aromatic ring structure of a catalyst, and the polymer product solution has strong fluorescence.
