The invention provides a microsphere-containing separator, and a lithium ion battery containing the separator. The microsphere has a core-shell structure, that is, includes a shell layer and a core core, the material for forming the shell layer includes a heat-sensitive polymer, and the material for forming the core includes a conductive material. The invention is different from the traditional lithium ion battery separator, adopts the method of polymer directional design and coating, and selects heat-sensitive polymer-coated conductive materials. Polymer-coated microspheres of conductive materials can effectively improve the high-temperature safety performance of lithium-ion batteries. |
