The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome the deficiency of the existing stainless steel electrode surface coating modification technology, and provide a stainless steel-based fuel cell bipolar plate surface composite coating and a preparation method thereof. The coating method adopted in the present invention is the high-power composite hot wire enhanced plasma magnetron sputtering technology; the coating layer has three layers, which are a bottom layer, a gradient transition layer and a surface layer. The primer layer is one or two of chromium, titanium, aluminum and iron. According to the difference of the substrate, the metal layer with mutual diffusion ability is selected to improve the bonding strength between the coating and the substrate; the gradient transition layer is mainly made by layering the metal layer. One or two of the MeC gradient compounds generated with the reaction gas, the purpose is to increase the strength and density of the coating; the surface layer is an amorphous carbon layer doped with precious metals silver, gold, palladium or platinum, the purpose is to enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance. |
