abstract The invention provides a perylene diimide derivative, which can effectively weaken the π-π interaction between molecules and inhibit its self-aggregation in the film-forming process because it is in a four-arm star shape. Therefore, using it as an acceptor material in organic solar cells and blending it with a polymer donor can obtain a suitable phase-separated morphology, improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency, and be more conducive to the commercialization of organic solar cells. The present invention also provides a preparation method of the derivative, use in a solar cell, and a solar cell comprising the derivative.
