abstract The invention provides application of a compound for enhancing the activity of gamma secretase in vitro, wherein the compound is N- [4- [ [ (3-methoxypyrazinyl) amino ] sulfonyl ] phenyl ] -3- (5-nitro-2-thienyl) -2-acrylamide, and the structural formula of the compound is shown as a formula (I). The compound can obviously enhance the activity of gamma secretase in an in-vitro cell model, thereby reducing the difficulty of detecting and analyzing the gamma secretase and providing good conditions for subsequent large-scale drug screening work taking the gamma secretase as a target.
