The thermoplastic elastomer compound comprises: (a) at least about 40 weight percent thermoplastic polyurethane selected from the group consisting of polycaprolactone thermoplastic polyurethane, polyether thermoplastic polyurethane, and combinations thereof; and (b) up to about 5 weight percent % polysiloxane. Thermoplastic elastomer compounds can be molded into thermoplastic articles that are substantially free of bloom after weathering, while also having good processability, useful functionality, and desirable aesthetics. Thermoplastic compounds are particularly useful for making overmolded thermoplastic articles. |
