abstract The invention discloses an aluminum-rich ZSM-5 molecular sieve and a synthesis method thereof. In the aluminum-rich ZSM-5 molecular sieve, the molar ratio of SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 is 6-9, and the content of framework aluminum accounts for more than 95% of the total aluminum. The method for synthesizing the molecular sieve includes: contacting an alkali source, water, an aluminum source, a silicon source, a specific ZSM-5 seed crystal and an organic template X under crystallization conditions to obtain a molecular sieve. The molecular sieve not only has a small silicon-aluminum ratio, but also is rich in framework aluminum, and is suitable for catalytic cracking of n-hexane and cumene and methanol conversion reactions.
