abstract The application provides a nucleating agent, a composition for preparing a transparent toughened nylon material, a transparent toughened nylon material and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of nylon material modification. The nucleating agent can reduce the intermolecular hydrogen bonding force during the nucleation of polymer alloys, so that it does not agglomerate in the nylon-K resin system, has better dispersibility, and increases the nucleation point. The composition for preparing the transparent toughened nylon material comprises: 60-90 parts by weight of transparent nylon resin, 10-25 parts by weight of K resin, 1-15 parts by weight of toughening agent and 0.5-1 part by weight of nucleating agent. The nucleating agent pretreats transparent nylon and K resin, promotes the formation of polymer alloy crystal nuclei, increases the crystallization speed of polymer alloy, and ensures that the crystallinity of polymer alloy will not change twice with the addition of toughening agent. Make the transparent nylon and K resin in the polymer alloy reach the same crystallinity, achieve the same level of refractive index, and improve the transparency of the nylon material.
