titleOfInvention Method for treating infections in crops and ornamental plants, preferably in viticulture and woody plants
abstract The present invention relates to methods for the treatment of fungal, in particular oomycete, and bacterial infections in crops and ornamental plants. The field of application is the cultivation of vines, fruits, vegetables and ornamental plants. The underlying problem of the present invention is to develop a method for the treatment of fungal, in particular oomycete, and bacterial infections, in particular downy mildew (downy mildew) and Pseudomonas syringae, in vine and vegetable cultivation. It has unexpectedly been found that selected proteases, alone and in combination with supplemental enzymes, are effective in treating infections of plants caused by certain phytopathogenic organisms. Protected plants are not infected. Thereby the propagation of pathogens within the trunk of the plant is dealt with. The method of the invention is characterized in that, during the growth phase, preferably before the weather-related phase of high infection threat, an aqueous solution of protease, alone or in combination with beta-glucanase and/or chitinase, is prepared, with the addition of stabilizers, Adhesives and wetting agents, as well as the additive solutions are applied to plants several times by conventional techniques.
