abstract | The invention discloses an organic photochromic compound and a method for synthesizing the same. The method comprises the following steps: firstly reacting cyclo()isopropyl malonate and furfural to synthesize compound I, and then adding the synthesized compound II, namely pyridine-2 ‑Ethylamine to generate target compound III, which is recrystallized in methanol solution to synthesize isomer IV. An appropriate amount of base is added to the aqueous solution of the target compound III to convert it into the isomer V. The invention uses an organic solvent with low toxicity to carry out a condensation reaction under certain conditions to obtain an organic photochromic compound with a high yield and a high content without using a catalyst, thereby effectively reducing the production cost. It has a wide range of applications in the fields of processing, photo-controlled catalysis, molecular materials, drug delivery, imaging and control of biological systems. |
