The invention relates to a massive silicon carbide-titanium carbide composite aerogel material and a preparation method thereof. Its morphology is gray-black block, and the composition is titanium carbide and silicon carbide. Wet gels were prepared by a one-step sol-gel process by adding acid catalysts respectively. The wet gels were subjected to solvent replacement and supercritical drying to obtain RF/SiO 2 /TiO 2 composite aerogel precursors. And calcination to remove carbon to obtain bulk TiC/SiC composite porous aerogel material. The invention achieves the requirement of light weight by introducing a porous structure, greatly reduces the operating temperature, can be prepared into a block material, and has wider application range. Using the sol-gel process, the particle size of the reaction is smaller, the contact area between the particles is large, the materials can be uniformly mixed in the subsequent heat treatment, the reaction is more thorough, and the organic aerogel (RF aerogel) is used for pyrolysis. The carbothermic reduction reaction of carbon is carried out without additional carbon reducing agent, and the operability and controllability of the process are realized at the molecular level. |
