abstract |
The present invention discloses a filter cartridge for a surgical gas delivery system, the filter cartridge including a filter housing configured to be seated in a filter cartridge interface of a surgical gas delivery system, wherein the filter housing passes through the filter housing. The plurality of flow paths defined by the filter housing include at least one drain/return flow path and at least one charge/sense flow path. A moisture filter element is included in the exhaust/return flow path for removing moisture from the exhaust/return lumen of the tube stack. The moisture filter element may include a sintered polymeric material configured to provide a tortuous flow path therethrough to condense moisture from the flow through the moisture filter element. |
