abstract The invention discloses a fishery resource abundance prediction method based on layered water temperature and application thereof, comprising the following steps: establishing a plurality of CPUE prediction models by utilizing a generalized additive model aiming at production statistical data of the fishes C in the sea area B in the time period A, longitude and latitude data of the sea area B in the time period A and sea surface temperatures corresponding to different depths; analyzing each CPUE prediction model based on the Chichi information criterion, and selecting the model with the minimum AIC value as the optimal prediction model; and inputting the sea surface temperature and the latitude and longitude corresponding to the water layer depth of the sea area B fishes C in the time period to be predicted into the final prediction model to complete the prediction of the CPUE of the sea area B fishes C in the time period to be predicted. The invention predicts the abundance of fishery resources based on the layered water temperature, establishes a model based on the GAM model, greatly improves the prediction precision, can provide reliable guidance for the development of ocean fishery resources, and has great application prospect.
