abstract The invention relates to a hybrid polymerization method of methacrylate derivatives and cyclic monomers initiated by alkoxide, belonging to the field of high molecular chemistry. The method comprises the following steps: adding a pre-metered alkoxide, a methacrylate derivative monomer, a cyclic monomer and a solvent in an inert gas atmosphere by taking alkoxide as an initiator to perform anion hybrid polymerization to obtain a corresponding hybrid copolymer. The method selects a plurality of initiators with low price, is suitable for a plurality of monomers, starts from methacrylate derivatives and cyclic monomers with wide industrial sources and low price, and can realize the mass preparation of the polymethacrylate-polyester copolymer which is difficult to obtain by the conventional polymerization method. The method is suitable for industrial scale-up production due to the low price of raw materials and solvents involved in the method and mild reaction conditions.
