The nano silicon dioxide oil displacement agent is prepared by adopting a scheme I or a scheme II; the scheme I comprises the following steps: adding a silicon dioxide precursor into a solvent, adding a surfactant, stirring to form a stable dispersion liquid, then adding an organic silicon modifier, adjusting the pH to 12 to 13, and reacting for 2 to 5 hours at 40 to 80 ℃ to obtain the nano silicon dioxide oil displacement agent; the scheme II comprises the following steps: sequentially adding the surfactant and the organic silicon modifier into the solvent, uniformly stirring at 20 to 80 ℃ to form a stable dispersion liquid, then adding the silicon dioxide precursor into the dispersion liquid, adjusting the pH to 12 to 13, and reacting for 2 to 5 hours at 40 to 80 ℃ to obtain the nano silicon dioxide oil displacement agent. The organic silicon modified nano silicon dioxide is a nano dispersion liquid with amphipathicity, the particle size is 2 to 10nm, the nano silicon dioxide oil displacement agent is used for a water injection well and an oil production well of an oil field (including an oil field with extremely low permeability), the wettability of rock can be changed, the oil-water interfacial tension can be reduced, the pressure can be reduced, the injection can be increased, and the crude oil recovery rate can be increased.
